How I use AI
I use AI tools in my work, mainly to draft, check and challenge my own thinking. They do not replace judgement. Every recommendation you receive is mine, and I stand behind it. Last updated October 2026.
Tools I use
- Claude (Team plan), for drafting, analysis and testing arguments.
- Gemini, inside Google Workspace, alongside the email, documents, spreadsheets, slides and calendar I use for ordinary work.
- Voicenotes, a voice-note and transcription service, for recording and transcribing calls and for my own notes.
Calls
I record and transcribe calls by default. It lets me be fully present in the conversation, and go back to your exact wording and the nuances afterwards, which is often where the value is, instead of relying on short notes and memory. I will tell you at the start of a call. If you would rather I did not record, say so before or during the call and I will stop.
Recordings and transcripts are stored by the transcription service in the United States, and processed by transcription and AI providers working for it. According to its privacy policy, it does not use recordings or transcripts to train AI models.
How your material is handled
- Everything you share with me is treated with confidentiality. A mutual NDA is available on request, before you send any documents.
- I use paid business accounts for Claude and Google Workspace. I do not knowingly put client documents into tools that train public AI models.
- Retention and deletion arrangements are confirmed at the start of each engagement.
